Our Wedding

🤍We first met at the Berwick YMCA when Brandon was the Childcare Director and Kylie was interviewing for a part time job. 🤍 We enjoyed casual conversation about our very similar interests and of course work related conversation but never really thought more about it. (Well, Kylie didn’t) 🤍Weeks later Brandon accepted a new position at the YMCA as the Reach and Rise Mentor Director ( no longer Kylie’s boss). 🤍 We ran into each other at the Run for the Diamonds, Thanksgiving Day race in November, 2018. Kylie saw Brandon and his mom over from where she was standing with her own family. She went over to say hello as she always did when she saw Connie. It was just a plus to see Brandon too! 🤍 That day, Brandon texted Kylie and thanked her for coming over to to say hi and told her she looked very pretty. We talked off and on all day. 🤍 We talked for days and you could tell feelings were starting to form. Kylie cancelled a date with another person because she could tell she was more interested in Brandon and wanted to see where it went. 🤍When Kylie told Brandon she cancelled dinner with another person, Brandon jumped on the opportunity and asked Kylie if she wanted to do something with him then? She accepted and we went on our first date on November 29th. 🤍 The rest is really just history! Things progressed fast and many more dates happens very quickly! 🤍 As you all can see and say quite often, we are meant for each other. The many hard times we have been through in the last 7.5 years have proved that. With losing very close family in our first few year together to celebrating many friends and family, we have only grown stronger through it all. The saying is true… We have it all when we have each other.

Alysa is Kylie's younger sister. If you know anything about Kylie and Alysa growing up, you know that they were the best of friends and never did anything without each other. Kylie couldn't imagine this special day without her sister by her side, just like it has always been.

Scott is Brandon’s older brother. Brandon couldn’t imagine his special day without his brother standing by his side. As you see in the photo, Brandon asked Scott to be his Best Man at a Penn State White Out game by handing him a Schaefer Light with a note on it " Best Man?". To accept, Scott was required to shot gun the beer.

The Frosty Valley Resort offers 20 cute cottages that we have blocked off for the night of the wedding, Saturday, 10.24.26.If you use the coupon code (BERKES102426), you will receive 15% off your one-night booking for Saturday only. If you wish to book the cottage for Friday night as well, there will be no discount code for that night as we could not block Friday due to other weddings at the venue.The block will be lifted on 09.24.26, so please book ahead if you plan to stay at the cottages!
