Our Wedding

Technically, we've known each other since high school. But our story really began when I got him a job at a dog daycare. (Nothing says "romance" like cleaning up dog poop all day, right??) After we began working together at Dogtopia, we went from coworkers to friends before finally realizing there was something more. We decided to make things official on March 26, 2020, right at the beginning of Covid. While everyone else was baking sourdough and watching Tiger King, we were figuring out how to date during a global pandemic. Lucky for us, cleaning up after dogs was considered "essential" and we still got to see each other at work every day. Fast forward five years, 2 college degrees, multiple job changes, a house, and 3 dogs later, he finally popped the question. And of course, the dogs were part of the proposal, bringing our story back to where it began with dogs running the show. Now we cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. And while the dogs won't be at the ceremony, we can't promise none of their fur will be...it follows us everywhere.

Leanna is Kylie's closest (in age) sister, at only 19 months apart! They have been best friends since Leanna was born and have shared countless memories together. Kylie was honored to be Leanna's maid of honor in her wedding last year, and is even more honored to have Leanna as her matron of honor this year.

Katelyn is Kylie's second sister and other built in bestie. Katelyn and Kylie have always been close, and their shared love of doing social media has made them not just sisters, but work partners for over a decade! Whether they're filming a YouTube video or discussing proper fish care, Katelyn and Kylie are a duo and so it was a no brainer to have Katelyn as Kylie's maid of honor.

Katelyn Makel

Shaelin and Kylie became friends through Leanna and have remained close since middle school! They share their love for dogs, reality TV, and reading. Kylie was a bridesmaid in Shaelin's wedding a few years ago and is so excited to have Shaelin as a bridesmaid in hers. 

Shaelin Abernathy

Maddie has been in Kylie's life since she was in diapers because Kylie's mom used to be Maddie's babysitter! Maddie has always been like a 3rd sister to Kylie, having been a part of so many childhood memories, holidays, and vacations. Kylie always says that Maddie is one of her favorite people, and she could not be more excited to have Maddie standing by her on her wedding day!

Madison Offner

Like Shaelin, Shannon was also introduced to Kylie through Leanna and they have quickly became good friends! Shannon is one of the few people that Kylie trusts to watch her dogs, making her a VIP as far as Kylie is concerned. Shannon is always the life of the party and Kylie could not be more excited to have her as one of her bridesmaids!

Shannon Flynn

Jarett is Tito's brother and one of the most important people in his life. Jarett and Tito grew up as each other's only siblings, and have remained close well into adulthood. If Tito needs advice from anyone, Jarett is his go to man. 

Jarett Ventura

Matt and Tito met in college and both graduated with Masters Degrees from George Mason's school of music. They went on to play in the Washington Commander's marching band together and remain best friends to this day. When they aren't playing music together, you can find them playing Magic the Gathering and bonding over various anime's. 

Matthew Libby

Mike was one of Tito's first friends he met in college and they remained close throughout all 4 years. After college, Mike moved back home to Connecticut where he works as a music teacher. Although they're states apart, Tito and Mike remain great friends today and Tito is honored to have him stand by his side on his wedding day.

Mike Secchi

Nelson is Kylie and Tito's brother in law and one of Tito's good friends! When Nelson started dating Kylie's sister, Leanna, him and Tito quickly became friends and are now excited to officially be family! Tito was a groomsman for Nelson when he got married last year, and couldn't wait to ask him to be a groomsman in his wedding this year.

Nelson Guevara

TJ is the youngest of Kylie's siblings and her only brother. Only having one brother of his own, Tito is so excited to marry into a family where he'll gain an awesome brother in law. Kylie and Tito are so grateful to have TJ standing by their side on their wedding day.

TJ Makel

Zack and Tito became friends in college and were in a music fraternity together, Phi Mu Alpha. After graduating, Zack and Tito remained good friends and Tito couldn't wait to ask Zack to be a part of his big day!
