Like every modern day romance, it all started with a swipe.

It was January 2019, Kylie had just moved to Nashville, TN to chase her Music City dreams and Jack was coaching football at Wilkes University. Kylie was looking to meet some people in her new city and Jack was passing time on a long ride down to San Antonio for a coaches convention when their paths crossed on Hinge. While Kylie had all intentions of leaving Upstate NY boys in the past, the connection with mutual friends and 6'2" build were hard to ignore.

Still living 820 miles away, the next few months were filled with long texts & thousands of questions until they were finally ready to take the next step...a FaceTime. On their first call, they talked for over 3 hours never reaching an awkward silence, and both knew this was going to be something special.

Fast forward to April 2019, when Jack & Kylie finally met in person for the first time. After they spent their first date walking around Saratoga Springs and getting to know each other, unbeknownst to Jack he'd be meeting a lot more women that day. Since Kylie wanted to make the most of every moment while she was back in town from Nashville for a few days, of course a girls night had to be squeezed in. Jack was thrown into a night filled with conversation with Kylie's best friends and even their mothers (probably what most men consider to be their worst nightmare), and it's like he had been there all along.

After spending a year quarantined in Kylie’s hometown, in February 2021 Jack & Kylie decided to flee south and moved to Charlotte, NC. The next three years would be spent with a lot of firsts - first apartment, first corporate job, first born son Remi (furbaby), first road trip, first NFL game, first country concert, as they settled into their new life together down south.

On December 17th, 2023, Jack pulled off what would end up being the surprise of Kylie’s lifetime when he got down on one knee and asked for forever.

In February 2024, Kylie & Jack moved into their first home as new Charleston, SC residents. They cannot wait to have all of their friends & family in their new city to celebrate on May 10th, 2025!
