Helloooo! Figured we'd share a little of how we met, fell in love, and are led to this beautiful covenant we all call marriage:Ethan saw a photo of Kylie on her Instagram, followed her and then viewed a story where she was posting about a testimony on how good the Lord was working in her life in that moment. Intrigued by it, he DM her "a girl who loves Jesus and is a 10... how does one get her number." Focusing complete attention on building her relationship with Jesus, single, Kylie wanted nothing to do with the comment. Denying Ethans DM, but that didn't stop him whatsoever!! Thank God! He would continue to DM her, asking for just one date-- Kylie still wanting nothing to do with it. Keep in mind they were both praying for their future spouses and dedicating that to the Lord. Eventually, Kylie's heart began to soften as they shared testimonies, and she began to pray that if she was meant to go on a date with Ethan, she would feel peace about going. Welp, Lord heard...lots of peace later (thankfully), things started to become so prevalent that Ethan was most definitely worth her time. No pressure though, right? Ethan and Kylie met in Columbus and went on their first date to "The Ave." They stayed there grubbing on steaks and talked from 4:30-9:30PM. Yeah, 4.5 hours. Then headed to Lion Cub's Cookies and closed that place out, too, talking. There are so many more details that go into it, but lots of diligent prayer, deep talks, excitement, hope and dates later-- here they are today. Ethan even put in the notes section "If it be Your will Jesus" on Kylie's contact, so anytime she would call, it would be a reminder to submit that request to Him. Now engraved on her engagement ring, that exact statement is what got them here today. Trusting in the Lord, dedicating everything to Jesus--clearly, it is His will. It is so right, so peaceful, the missing piece to eachother's lives.
