Mark and I met on the streets of Anaheim. The beauty of our love story is we met by chance and I always think about how if certain factors did not play into that day we would have never met. As many of you already know, Mark had been working for a fire and water restoration company and he received a call about an electrical fire in Anaheim he went to that fire to sell his services and instead it was me he was selling his services to. Whitney and I both happened to be there that day because we were working for my dad. Paula, a neighbor we had known since childhood, had a fire, and my dad, being concerned but unable to be in the area, asked us to check on her. Mark strikes up a conversation with us as we were about to leave and low and be hold this giant turtle that I have been wanting to see is out and about with his owner so Mark being the animal lover that he is asked if we wanted to check it out. At the time he was unaware that I was also a HUGE animal lover, so I could not resist a giant turtle.As we walked over to the turtle, he casually asked for my number, stating it was strictly for business purposes as I had mentioned working in construction with my dad. However, deep down, we both knew it wasn't merely a professional exchange. Eight years later, we've grown together, falling more in love with each passing year. Now, as we approach the celebration of becoming husband and wife, we can't help but reflect on the unpredictable journey that brought us here. We can't wait to celebrate with our loved ones!
