Our Wedding

We met in the fall of 2019 at Western Carolina University in a dual class that was about history and politics of the American south. I signed up for the history part and Bear signed up for the political part. As the semester went along, Bear and I both started to have feelings for each other, but no one wanted to make the first move. One day Bear decided to wear a Ron Swanson t-shirt and when I complimented his shirt, he finally realized that I had flirting with him the entire time. We went on our first date on September 14 and eventually became official on September 20th. When Covid happened, I had to moved back to California and Bear stayed in North Carolina. We started ourlong-distance relationship where we dealt with a 3 hour time difference and couldn’t see each other due to the lockdown. I moved to Texas while Bear finished school and we continued our long distance relationship for about 3 more years. We were very lucky that we only dealt with a 1 hour time difference. We called each other everyday and always supported each other. In the summer of 2023, I got offered a job to be closer to Bear and moved down to South Carolina. Our 3 year long distance relationship was finally over. In March so 2024 our good friend Nina decided to come down to see us (she just happens to be one of my best friends and is also a photographer). Nina knew about the proposal and helped Bear to surprise me. On March, 11, 2024, Bear proposed to me at Looking Glass Falls in Asheville, NC. Our love story is special because there is no such distance and time that can keep us apart.

I’ve known Zach since we were born. We played together growing up. He got me into Boy Scouts. While at western we lived together. He was one of the first people I told about Kylie. We still hike, hangout, and play video games together.

Thomas and I have been friends since we were born. Growing up thomas was the intrepid leader of our little troop of hooligans. We always found time to hangout in collage. While Kylie and I were dating, Thomas and his wonderful wife were always on me to finally propose.

Me and Collin met when I entered Boy Scouts. Throughout high school his house was our go to location to hang out and spend our weekends. Thanks to Collin and Zach I decided to attend western. And while attending western we were roommates.  Collin has always been there for me and even if he’s in Ohio we are still close

I met braxton in Boy Scouts.  While in high school he was always there for us even if he was in NCSSM. Any time we hangout fun ensues. Every year he is gracious enough to invite all of us to his Mountain house for New Years; for me and Kylie those trips are one of our absolute favorites parts of our year.

Drew and I were originally friends thanks to our older brother’s friendship. Over time we lost contact. In 2017, thanks to my brother’s wedding we reconnected and have been close friends ever since. When we’re free we go shooting or hang out at his house. He has proven to be a true and trusted friend.

I met Jacob in collage. We both joined ETP where we became close friends. Any collage event we hung out. Any get together our friends held you could find me and Jacob together ether getting into trouble or keeping our friends out of it. Even after college we have routinely kept in touch.

London is my older brother. He is someone who I’ve always looked up to. As a kid I always strived to be as cool as him. As a high schooler I tried to be as athletic and poplar as him. Even now he is a is an example of manliness and success. The time we get to spend together is always eventful. I can’t think of a better man to be my best man.

The hotel is 12 minutes away from the venue. Comes with a complimentary breakfast from 6:30-9:30. Bypass 72 NW will be right down the street. on the bypass there will be restaurants, the Greenwood mall, and a bunch of stores. The rooms will have a queen size bed. The last day to book the room at the rate will be on October 15th.
