Black-tie optional. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress. We can't wait to see everyone all dressed up!
Can my children attend?
To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception. I am happy to help find a trustworthy person to watch over your children during the evening if desired, many of the medical students I work with baby-sit on the side!
Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?
Yes, they are. Cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony to allow for the space to be set up for the reception, which will include dinner, drinks, dancing, and cake.
Is there parking at the venue?
There is a huge and free parking lot at the venue and is a short walk to the front door.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Given the somewhat unpredictable nature of spring weather, the wedding and reception is planned to be inside of the palm house itself. If it is nice outside, we will be hosting the cocktail hour outside.
Will there be transportation to and from the hotel(s)?
There will not be transportation to and from any hotel. There are many hotels very close by and it is easily accessible by drive. Uber or other taxi services are abundantly available in the city if needed to allow for safe transportation to and from the venue.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
When RSVP-ing you should be prompted to share any dietary restrictions so we can accommodate you.
Can I bring a plus one?
Our wedding is a RSVP only event. Please refer to your invitation and RSVP to see how many seats have been reserved in your honor.
