Fun Fact: when Tommy and Kylie were 13, they went on a "not date" to go see The Proposal in theaters. Still one of their favorite movies!

Tommy had told Kylie in August of 2022 that he was going to propose by the end of the year (just so she would stop asking when it was going to happen). So when December came around (Kylie's favorite month), she knew it was bound to happen soon.

Tommy told Kylie that his friend Nick was having a "fancy get-together" at his house in Tom's River on Thursday, December 22nd. Kylie thought it was a tad suspicious that someone was having a party on a Thursday, and was on guard day of, wondering if this was finally it.

A couple minutes before they were ready to leave, Tommy's Mom called in a panic asking them to bring tablecloth pins to her that she left at home for a catering job she was doing at the middle school...the very same middle school where Tommy and Kylie met! Kylie truly still thought the proposal was going to happen at Nick's house, and was in complete shock when she walked into their middle school library to find a beautiful set up of pictures, candles, and flowers...right in the spot where they first met.

Tommy led Kylie to the flower arch, got down on one knee, and she of course said yes!

To Kylie's surprise, her best friends Karen & Ray, her sister Leah, and Tommy's mom all came out of hiding and showed them they were secretly recording.

It was the sweetest and most thoughtful proposal! Thank you to everyone who kept it a secret and made it so special.
