Our ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start.
What date should I RSVP by?
Kindly RSVP by May 17th.
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so that we can plan accordingly.
What color are the bridesmaids wearing?
My beautiful bridesmaids will all be wearing satin neutral champagne.
Is there a dress code?
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Our dress code will be semi-formal attire. Ladies may wear floor length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen may wear a suit & tie.
Is there parking available at the Fishermen's Inn?
Yes, complimentary parking is available at the venue.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will take place indoors.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
If your formal invitation is addressed to you and a guest, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. Please don't hesitate to contact either of us for clarification!
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We adore your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!
Will there be a bar?
Yes! Beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us; the hangovers are on you!
Can I take pictures?
We will be having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture the moment for us, and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!
Have you reserved a room block at a hotel?
There is a wedding discount at the Hampton Inn & Suites at Chicago/Aurora. Please refer to the "Hotel Information" tab for details! There is no obligation to stay at this hotel or to use the wedding discount. We have simply provided this for your convenience!
Will there be a shuttle to & from the hotel?
Yes, there will be a shuttle service to and from Fishermen's Inn & Hampton Inn & Suites! Please see the Hotel Information tab for more details.
