Who would’ve thought an online dating website would bring us where we are today? We met in January of 2018 on an app called Tinder. By February 2018 we were “Facebook Official” and by December of 2019 we were ENGAGED! From the day we first officially met, we never left each other’s side. A couple of months in, we finally cleaned out Marcus’s apartment in Yukon so he could live with my sister and I in our duplex near the University of Oklahoma’s campus in Norman. We finished out the lease there and then quickly decided we wanted to move to Edmond, to be closer to our jobs. So, in short notice we found a house and packed up to go. After living in Edmond for a year we then decided we wanted to buy a house instead of continuing renting. We found our perfect home in Yukon, Oklahoma just off the turnpike! 

Let’s back track a little to Christmas time in 2019. Marcus came up to me while I was wrapping gifts for family and friends, and asked me if I would wrap HIS gift to ME? I rolled my eyes and wrapped the gift. Little did I know that gift would hold so much meaning to my heart and future. On December 28th we drove to Muskogee for Christmas dinner with my family at my grandparents house. Marcus has already been in contact with my sister Codie and got screenshots of my engagement ring board on Pinterest, my ring size, and my uncles badass photography. After everyone was done unwrapping their gifts, he asked me if I wanted to open mine. So of course, I open it. I find two pair of cabin socks (which he knows are my winter favorites) and a diamond necklace. He asked me to turn around so he could put the necklace on me so that’s what I did. Seconds later I turn around to Marcus, on his knee, with tears in his eyes. He then asked me, “Will you marry me, Kylie?” I was absolutely speechless. All I could get out was, “Are you for real?” And to this day I never actually said “yes”. Whoops! 

So here we are today, planning the wedding of our dreams. We hope you can come out and spend our day with us.
