The Slow Burn (2012–2021)

Kylie and Chad’s story didn't start with a whirlwind romance; it started with the chaotic energy of the summer after high school graduation. They officially kicked off their "journey" at Missouri State University, where they spent a year navigating dorm life and midterms side-by-side.

While college only kept them on the same campus for a year, it launched a decade-long friendship. For the next nine years, they stayed in each other's orbits—witnessing each other's questionable life choices and big milestones from the "friend zone" safety net.

The "About Time" Moment (2021–Present)

In 2021, something finally clicked (or they both just gave in to the inevitable). They officially started dating, and by 2022, Chad was packing his bags to move back to Arkansas to be with Kylie.

The Dynamics

Our household is a finely tuned machine of chaos and patience. Kylie is the "spirited" one—fun, loud, and admittedly a little nuts. Chad is the resident saint, possessing a level of patience that should be studied by scientists. He is also the designated "Hilarious One" and a gift-giver so talented it's actually a bit intimidating.

The Real Bosses

We don't live alone; we are currently under the strict management of our two dogs, Jynx and Sooie. They mostly approve of this marriage, provided it doesn't interfere with their treat schedule or prime sofa real estate.
