What do I need to bring?
Your wedding outfit, everyday clothes for Friday-Sunday, swimmers/tennis racquets/hiking shoes for activities, and - if you’re staying at the backpackers or camping - a pillow, sleeping bag/linen, and towel (if you choose to exclude the linen package in the bunks). Campers will obviously need a tent, swag or van, etc. BYO drinks in an esky for Friday as we supply alcohol on the Wedding day.
Can I bring my own food?
Meals are catered for over the weekend but if you wish to bring snacks you are more than welcome. All dietary requirements are catered for. Enjoy having a break from cooking! Please note that all accommodation pricing includes your food for weekend. There is no option to stay without the food package.
What's a 'low waste' wedding?
We are trying to minimise our impact and waste at our wedding. We would really appreciate everyone's help to achieve this by putting any recycling in the appropriate bins and picking up any waste (especially cigarette butts) and placing them in the bins which will be provided.
Are there powered camping sites?
Unfortunately, there are no powered sites but everything you will need is available at the Lodge House.
Can we choose our rooms?
All of the glamping tents and lodge rooms have been tentatively allocated to family, elders & our bridal party. Upon RSVP’s being received, final arrangements may adjust slightly but we will try our best to meet all your requests. Please note, all other accommodation will be arranged in a first in first served basis but there are plenty of beds available and we will organise you with people you know.
How do we book?
Once RSVP’s are received, we will be able to finalise the rooms for everyone. Total costs for guests are to be transferred into our account by 19th January 2022. Depending on what accommodation you choose will depend on how much. Once we have received your RSVP we will contact you in regards to accommodation. All enquiries, bookings and payment for Midginbil Hill are to be made via Kym & Harrison.
Are the ceremony and reception in walking distance?
All guest will need to travel a short distance by car between the ceremony and reception. However, all accommodation is in walking distance from the reception location.
All cars will travel in convoy from the Lodge House at approximately 2:45pm.
Is there phone reception?
Midginbil Hill has little phone reception, so be ready to switch off.
