We are so excited for our Big Day and to enjoy time with all of our friends and family members! We also want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to both of our families for the support and help while planning our wedding!

Our Wedding

How We Met:

Garrett and I met each other online in November of 2019. Garrett at the time was living in Stephenville, Tx and I was living in Arlington, Tx. We had talked, facetimed and texted for about a month before actually meeting each other due to the distance between us but finally we had a first date at Grease Monkey in Downtown Arlington. Our first date was definitely one to remember, Garrett likes to joke about how many times I had asked him to get up and grab napkins, ketchup, more to drink, etc. But he did it and more! I realized he was different when we had gotten our food and he grabbed my hand to pray over our dinner with me. That's one of the things I adore about him the most!

When We Knew:

Garrett:"I knew she was the one the very first weekend we spent together. We just seemed to click together and it just made sense with her. She loves the same things I do (except football) and I love every second I get to spend with her." Kyndal:" I knew he was the one when he took my hand on our first date and prayed with me. No one had ever done that with me before and seeing his strong faith made me like him even more! It was one of those things where when you know, you just know!"

The Proposal:

Garrett and I had planned a trip down to the Coast in August of 2020 with a couple of our friends to have a little get away. We had planned a nice couples date night at Landry's Seafood House and eventually went to the beach after we had eaten dinner. When we got to the beach Garrett had picked up a bright orange seashell that was fully intact (me being oblivious not realizing that the Gulf Coast doesn't have shells that look like that) and told me to come look at it. He was dead set on opening it because there was "something inside". If you know me, I'm a stubborn girl so I told him to leave it alone and we can keep it because I though it was pretty. I turned and walked away from him while he tried to pry it open (p.s. he had super glued it too much and couldn't open it LOL!). When he finally opened it, I went over to him to see the inside of it and saw that it said " Will You Marry Me?". By the time I had looked up, he was down on one knee! Best day EVER!!

Our Story

FYI:

For everyone travelling from out of town, we want to make you aware that there is a big football game for Baylor in Waco the weekend of our wedding. As a result of this, we ask that you book a hotel or AirBNB as soon as you can to ensure that you get a place to stay. We have listed the hotels below! Since the nearest hotels are about 20 minutes away, we ask that you keep that in mind when it comes to drinking. Uber does reach the venue and you are more than welcome to leave your vehicle overnight until you are able to pick it up the next day.

Dinner will be served during the reception. We will be catering Griff's in Waco and will be serving: MAIN MEAT:-Smoked Chicken-Smoked Sausage SIDES:-Green Beans-Corn-Baked Potato Casserole-Rolls

Please be sure to RSVP so we can get a headcount for dinner!

The venue DOES NOT allow any type of smoking or vaping in the reception hall and/or the chapel area. We ask that if you need to, step into the parking lot away from the front door to do so!

Caitlyn is Kyndal's older sister. Ask her about all the crazy memories they have made together! 

Fun Fact About Caitlyn: She is OBSESSED with Bob Ross and just recently became a Postpartum Nurse in Austin!

Trinity and Kyndal met in the 5th grade! They have made so many memories together and hang out all the time! Fun Fact About Trinity: She loves to be spontaneous!

Allison and Kyndal met in Kindergarten at Tolar ISD. They have been friends for going on 17 years! Fun Fact About Allison: She attends Texas Tech in Lubbock!

Macie and Kyndal are cousins on Kyndal's Mom's Side!  When they were little they would run up and down their Grandma's hallway screaming until they got in trouble!

Fun Fact About Macie: She is in Nursing School at UMHB!

Kayla and Kyndal are cousins on Kyndal's Dad's side! Kyndal and Kayla used to spend a lot of time together at Meme and Papa's house and loved to watch Ghost Adventures!

"I met Garrett in Kindergarten. We became best friends over an intense game of Connect 4 of which I won, of course. Fun fact, once Garrett ate a whole case of Ramen Noodles in one night. He also enjoys bagged pickles, which he often liked to hide throughout the house we lived in. You never knew when you may sit down and find a floor pickle!"-Richard

How To RSVP (A Step By Step Tutorial)

STEP 1:

-To find your RSVP, type either the exact name on the envelope of the invitation received or type ONE of the names included on the envelope.(I.E. The envelope from the invitation says "John and Jane Doe", either type "John and Jane Doe" OR "Jane Doe"/"John Doe")- Once you have typed the name in, click "Find My Invitation"

STEP 2:

-Once you have completed step one, you should see a list of the people invited in your party. Please select "Accept" or "Decline".-Then select "Continue".

STEP 3:

-In step 3, it will ask how many people will be attending.

STEP 4:

- In step 4, it will ask whether you have any questions that have not been answered by our "Q + A" or "FYI's" tab. If you do not have any questions please select "Skip".-If you do have questions AFTER submitting your RSVP, please feel free to reach out to Kyndal/Garrett or a direct family member of the Bride or Groom and we will get back with you!

STEP 5:

-At this point, hang tight because you're almost done! We ask that you submit either a phone number or an email in this step so that if anything changes that will effect our guests, we will be able to reach out to you!-P.S. This will also give you a confirmation text that your RSVP has been received and will also send you a reminder close to our wedding!-ONCE YOU ARE DONE PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PRESS "SEND RSVP". IF YOU DO NOT SELECT THIS WE WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR RSVP.

STEP 6:

-YAY! Now you have completed your RSVP! On this page you will see two options, to browse our registry or return to the home page! It also gives you the option to add it to your calendar or update your response! IF YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR RSVP AFTER SUBMITTING IT, MAKE SURE TO USE THE SAME DEVICE THAT YOU SENT YOUR RSVP ON AND IT WILL ALLOW YOU TO CHANGE YOUR RESPONSE. IF YOU TRY TO UPDATE ON A DIFFERENT DEVICE, IT WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS!
