Cody and Kyra started talking back in May of 2021 and went on their first official date on June 12th, 2021. They went to a Fair in Overland Park, KS where Cody did not win a stuffed animal for Kyra. Sad.
Luckily, she agreed to another date…and another one after that….and so on.


Cody proposed to Kyra on 4th of July 2023. He kept asking Kyra to go on a golf cart and she kept saying “No” as she was already in her pajamas and laying in bed watching tv.

~Anyone who knows Kyra knows that she likes to settle in bed around 8 pm and call it a night~

Kyra finally caved in and went on a golf cart ride with Cody. He played it off by saying he was pulling over to watch the fireworks. When he got off the golf cart Cody had no other words than “I’m scared”
Kyra chuckled nervously and said she was scared too….because it’s dark and he stopped the golf cart.

Cody finally got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. She of course said “YES!” And proceeded to have happy tears the rest of the ride home!

Over the last three years Cody and Kyra have grown closer and are excited to start their future together!

•Ping Pong rallies (up to seven minutes straight!)
•Yard work (Cody brings home a new plant and Kyra has to help)
•Playing frisbee with Bonnie Bears
