HOW WE MET"My Love" and I have known each other since childhood. Champ lived around the corner from my aunt &amp; uncle. I would run into him from time to time of course.&nbsp;I've always been attracted to him but didn't give into it because I considered him to be a "playa". On one lovely day after my sister, cousins, and I came from seeing R Kelly, I was standing in front of my cousins’ house.&nbsp;Shortly after, Champ approached me and asked for my phone number.&nbsp;After that, it was on-and-popping, and you couldn’t keep us away from one another.&nbsp;We would stay on the phone until one of us fell asleep.&nbsp;Yes, it was that old-school love.&nbsp;Throughout all our ups and downs, we’ve realized that our love for one another is unbreakable.&nbsp;&nbsp;Now here we are. Leave it up to Champ, we would’ve gone to the courthouse years ago, LOL.&nbsp;But I wanted to share this moment with our loved ones, friends, and those who have been by our side since day 1.&nbsp; &nbsp;THE PROPOSALYears ago on April 2nd, my kids started telling me that we should get dressed and go out somewhere.&nbsp;I’m like where, they said it’s a surprise.&nbsp;So, they did my hair, picked out my outfit, etc.&nbsp;By that time, I knew Champ was cooking downstairs.&nbsp;My children said OK Momma you can come downstairs now.&nbsp;As I started walking down the stairs, our song was playing, and I saw candles lit up and rose petals on the floor as a walkway.&nbsp;They told me to sit at the table.&nbsp;Champ came in and fixed me a delicious plate of food and poured me a glass of wine.&nbsp;We’re all sitting at my dining room table just having a great conversation, then Champ gets up and proceeds to get on his knee and proposes.&nbsp;Mind you, all that time I was drinking my wine, the ring was in the glass, and I had no idea.&nbsp;LOL&nbsp;It was a very romantic and intimate proposal!&nbsp;&nbsp;

I'm honored to be Kyra's Maid of Honor.  We have been kicking strong for 30 plus years.  Two peas in a pod. I thank God for allowing our paths to cross.  My blessings to by BF and Champ for a long beautiful and prosperous marriage. 

I've known my BF Kyra for almost 20 years.  We met at work and formed a bond that led us to an everlasting friendship.  I love her dearly and I'm so happy to be apart of her special day.
