KÀ by Cirque du Soleil

Escape the fast-paced Vegas Strip and venture into the Mojave Desert to uncover the rich history and planning behind the Hoover Dam. Built in 1935, this was once the world's largest power-producing facility and now remains a world-renowned feat of engineering.
Hop aboard a comfortable air-conditioned bus for a scenic drive through the cacti-lined desert, checking out the flora and fauna of this arid landscape as you make your way toward Hoover Dam. Towering 725 feet (220 m) above the Colorado River, the dam is one of the biggest concrete structures on the planet.
Once inside, on the Powerplant Tour, marvel at the 17 turbine generators at work and learn how they transform flowing water into enough electricity to power a major portion of the American Southwest. Walk through the facility and listen to your guide describe historic details of the structure's controversies, tragedies, and first-of-its-kind technology.
