La’Keilla and Damaris began dating in December of 2020, and met through a mutual friend. Our first date was December 19, 2020 at Saltgrass Steakhouse in Baton Rouge and have been inseparable every since.

In December of 2021, the two had their first child Joy Keilani Lewis, and in 2024 the couple purchased their first home and are now working to build their lives together through marriage. La'Keilla graduated from Alcorn State in 2018, and Southern University in 2021 and is now studying to receive her Ph.D from Southern University soon.
