What is getting around Sayulita like?
Golf carts can be rented all over in Sayulita (see more info on Sayulitalife.com), and are affordable.
The town is very walkable, however, if you are experiencing mobility challenges, or are bringing kids, then golf carts might be best.
Where should I stay?
Airbnb's are a great option, for solo stays, couples, and large groups. Sayulita has an amazing array of beautiful places to stay for all budgets.
Some parts of town are more lively than others. Generally speaking, the closer you are to downtown, the more of a party atmosphere you will find at night. If you are looking for a quieter vibe, then staying on the North end of town, or East of downtown might be for you.
Our favorite hotel is Hotelito Los Sueños, a beautiful boutique hotel that is incredibly affordable and on the quieter side of town, within walking distance to downtown and just a few blocks from the best part of the beach. Rooms include A/C, safes, delicious breakfast, and access to their outdoor pools. They also have massages and acupuncture, as well as rooftop yoga. Their concierge service speaks English and can help arrange transportation and any type of adventure you are interested in. https://www.hotelitolossuenos.com
I'm bringing my kid(s) with me. Is there any sort of childcare in town for the day of the wedding (wedding is adults-only)?
There are several reputable nanny services available in town. If you are planning on bringing children and are looking for childcare the day of the wedding, please let us know so we can coordinate introductions with other wedding guests also looking for a nanny. Many of the companies offer group discounts for more than one child. All staff are CPR-certified. Check out the websites below for more info:

How long should I stay for?
We recommend staying for at least 5 days, but 10 days is our favorite!
What is there to do?
We will be putting together some groups before and after the wedding for mountain biking, ATV, and tequila tasting. Let us know if you are interested! Here are some of the adventures we recommend: Mountain biking, surfing, ATV, Yoga, massage, cooking class, tequila/mezcal tasting, horseback riding, dance classes, checking out live music, bird class, hiking, chocolate tasting, scuba, fishing, snorkel, day trip to another town life San Pancho, Cruz or Punta de Mita. Downloading the app WhatsApp for free before you head down to Mexico is a good idea. That way you can call or text for free while you are there.
How to pay in Sayulita
-You will always get the best rates when using Mexican pesos, especially in cash while you are there. Sayulita is very cash-oriented.
-Many places do take cards, and some take American dollars, but your rates won't be as good.
-We recommend that you travel to Mexico with some Mexican pesos, or at least a little American cash. You will need it to pay your taxi driver to Sayulita from the Puerto Vallarta airport.
-The best ATM in town is at the Intercam Banco at the entrance to Sayulita. You can also enter the bank to conduct money exchanges and withdrawals. Other ATMs may not be as safe to use.
-Casas de Cambio (currency exchange centers) are also scattered around town, and although the rates aren’t always as favorable as ATM exchanges, they don’t charge fees, which can be a bonus.
