Caleb and Lacey met in 2014 in Midland, TX. Through a comedic series of encounters, the two found themselves at a movie, unaware that the other was also invited. Lacey, unsettled by the assumed “set up”, left right after the movie. Caleb, our unsuspecting movie-enthusiast, was just there to enjoy his popcorn and the big screen! A seemingly innocuous movie night, which Lacey initially found inappropriate, was the first chapter of their love story.

As the stars would have it, their paths kept intersecting. The chemistry was undeniable, and Lacey couldnt help but fall for Calebs charm and wit, as she found herself frequently checking his Instagram. Of course, Caleb didn’t need much convincing with Lacey; she was beautiful and mysterious, and he wanted to find out more.

Their love found a home in a quaint camper, their first shared space, symbolizing the simplicity and warmth of their bond. After 7 years, they graduated from the camper life to start the exciting chapter of parenthood, welcoming their radiant baby girl, Ember Rey, into the world.

Fast-forward to 9 years since their first encounter, on a breathtaking mountaintop in Virginia where Caleb, in the shadow of the setting sun, asked Lacey to be his forever. This beautiful proposal happened just before their 9th dating anniversary.
