It’s no secret that Lacey and Ryan like to have a good time, and it’s only fitting that they found each other while having a good time at a small town bar in June of 2021.

When Ryan told Lacey he was from a small town, she laughed in his face. SHE was from a small town. As it turns out Strasburg, ND (pop. 370) and Kennebec, SD (pop. 297) have a lot in common. They both taught us the value of community, cell service, and a full tank of gas… and they both have legendary small town bars owned by legendary Todds.

It didn’t take long before Ryan won over Lacey, and then her kids, and eventually her cat; and we all became one happy family in June of 2022 when Ryan moved in.

We knew this was a forever thing shortly after it began, but the numerous concerts, road-trips, and home-improvement projects have solidified that. As long as Ryan continues to say “yes dear.. whatever you want,” we should both live very long and happy lives 😉.
