Lacey and Caleb’s fathers were friends in high school and they met not long after Caleb was born growing up together.

Throughout the years Lacey joined Caleb and his family during many Jewish holidays to explore Judaism and spirituality.

After talking all summer about all things philosophy, religion, and life Caleb finally asked Lacey out on August 4th. He took her to Red Robin and then to Creve Coeur Park to watch the sunset.

While both Caleb and Lacey had grown up camping; Lacey with her family and Caleb with Scouts, they went camping for the first time just them in spring of 23. Lacey taught Caleb how to just sit and relax in the trees and Caleb taught Lacey the basics of putting up a tent and other camping necessities.

On December 21, 2023 Caleb surprised Lacey with a puppy for Christmas and Piper was added to their family!

For their second anniversary Caleb planned a 36 hour date to celebrate. We watched movies, went to the zoo, ate at our favorite places and then went back to Creve Coeur Park to watch the sunset again. This time Caleb proposed in the middle of the trees where they first fell in love.
