Dalton and Laila met in kindergarten at Eastview Elementary School. Laila transferred to St. Gabriel Catholic School for 1st grade and Dalton ended up doing the same when both of them were entering 3rd grade. Ever since, the two have been inseparable. Dalton officially asked Laila to be his "girlfriend" in 6th grade.

The two "dated" on and off throughout middle school and into their freshman year of high school. In February of 2015 the two became official (again). They have always had a bond that always brings them back together no matter what trials and tribulations they may face.

The two welcomed their beautiful daughter, Nyah, in 2023 and two years later Dalton decided it was time for all three of them to share the same last name. They are so excited and grateful to continue their journey as a family!
