Aaron and Laine met in the fall of 2020 as all Good Ags hope to - at a football tailgate. They'd had mutual friends for years but never officially met until a fun game of beer pong. Through the course of the season they saw each other every game day - Laine was interested but Aaron was shy so they never exchanged contact information.

On December 11, 2020, Laine sought to change that. After a little liquid courage, she made the first move via facebook messenger and invited Aaron to meet her at the Angry Elephant. Drinks were poured, conversation shared, and before they knew it 6 hours had come and gone. Both ended the night knowing it was the start of something truly special.

In the following weeks, Laine and Aaron continued to get to know one another, mutually attended a New Years Eve party, and went on several dates. By January 27, 2021 they were officially in a relationship.

Falling in love happened easily and quickly. Soon into their relationship they were inseparable. By February of 2022, Laine and Wally had moved in with Aaron. Over the last few years, the couple have traveled to Mexico twice, to Colorado twice, road tripped through west Texas, New Mexico, and Utah, and taken several trips throughout Texas.

Aaron proposed to Laine on May 27th on Laine's family farm in Shelby, TX. It was so very special! They are so thrilled to share their wedding day with y'all! Lets celebrate!
