Lainey and Ian met their freshman year of college at Manchester University. Here they both played soccer, sat across from each other in their freshman business class, and shared several mutual friends.

After several months of being "just friends," Ian asked Lainey on their first date! After realizing how much they shared in common and enjoyed being with each other, Ian officially asked Lainey to be his girlfriend.

Over the next several months, Lainey and Ian spent lots of time together, consisting of watching IU basketball games, studying for endless exams, making every excuse to go to a coffee shop, and bonded over their love for Texas Roadhouse rolls :)

They wrapped up their freshman year and began their sophomore year of college. Ian continued to play soccer while Lainey decided to focus on her academics. They continued to support each other and quickly realized they were falling in love.

Soccer season officially ended and they were headed into spring semester. Ian finally got invited on a family spring break trip where they created lots of memories and Ian realized how much Lainey loved soaking up the sun.

Lainey and Ian took full advantage of the lake where they love to spend their summers. Ian loves the water sports, and Lainey loves being the passenger princess getting tan. Some of their favorite memories are at the lake!

After spending lots of time with friends and hanging out in the College of Business, junior year for these two had officially flown by. As Lainey prepared for their final summer, Ian was ready to take the next step in their relationship!

On a beautiful spring day, Ian asked Lainey to marry him! She, of course, said yes and they spent the weekend celebrating with their families and preparing for the next exciting milestones to come.

Lainey and Ian wrapped up their last summer as students and began their senior year! With so many big decisions to come over the next year, they are cherishing this moment in their lives while preparing for their next steps together. As wedding planning is in full swing, they are so excited to share this beautiful milestone in their lives with you!
