My BESTIE! Honey, I love you beyond words. To know that we've been in each other's corner for over 30 years is to know that we are blessed beyond measure. I reminisce on my wedding day and see your face, right there beside me. And here I am, ready to hold it down for you on your wedding day.
You are my chosen family, and I cherish every moment... our crazy sense of humor, the way we talk without words, or love for food and adventure, the way we hold each other accountable, just knowing what makes one another click. I am honored to be your Matron of Honor on your special day!
Tricia Phillips - Maid of Honor
Laise and I have known each other for over 20 years. We met through her brother our beloved Andre and I gained a sister in law. Throughout those 20 years we've spent so much time together, travelling, having sleepovers, gathering for family events, numerous roadtrips, chillaxing together all day in bed having marathon tv/movie binging days. We always have fun and belly busting laughter with lots of arguments about stupid stuff in between. I have so many fond memories of our time together with one of my favorites being our recent roadtrip this past August to drop Chyna off to college. The 14 hours of driving time passed with singing, laughing, talking crap and reminiscing about previous adventures spent together. I've always maintained that I consider Laise as my sister. An annoying older sister (insert eye roll). But I love and will always cherish her in my life. She is my family and I am truly honored and touched that she chose me as her maid of honor for her special day. She's got me for life!
Chyna-Lee Hunter - Maid of Honor
I am Chyna-Lee, the daughter of the bride. Currently a freshman at Howard University in Washington, DC, where I am pursuing a major in Psychology and a minor in Women, Genders, and Sexualities. Reflecting on our shared journey, my most treasured memory with my mother transpired on my high school graduation day. Witnessing her palpable pride in my achievements marked the inception of my adult chapter, rooted in the love and foundation she cultivated within me.
In matters of personal flair, my favored hues are the delicate shades of pink and green, resonating with the subtleties of life. A quote that resonates deeply with me is, "I don't have any control over what actually happens except for that I have full control over my will for myself, my intention, and why I'm there.”
Torika Alonso - Bridesmaid
My name is Torika (affectionately known as "Terri") and I first met Laise back in 2008, when we collaborated together on a PR project for a fashion show. With her infectious personality and kick-ass work ethic, we immediately became friends. We began carpooling in to work together and it was during this time that we shared some of our funniest experiences - we coined them, "The Busway Escapades".
Throughout the years, we've shared laughs, shed tears and, through it all, she has always kept it 💯 with me (whether I liked it or not!) She is the epitome of a TRUE friend, and I will always cherish our sisterhood.
Carol Dundas - Bridesmaid
My name is Carol Dundas and I’m Laise’s cousin. Laise is one of my favorite travel buddies, most of my fondest memories include her and some version of a shifty travel adventure.
My favorite memory with Laise was our trip to Jamaica. Laise was ably to talk her way into a complete upgrade at our hotel and was able to convince two complete strangers to become our personal chef and driver for the entire trip.
Aside from being related by blood, I would have chosen her as my friend; she’s loyal, giving, supportive and there is always a good time to be had when she’s around. I’m proud and excited that she’s chosen me to be apart of what I know will be her greatest adventure yet.
Jasmine Everett - Bridesmaid
I’m Jasmine, I’ve known Laise since I was born. Our relationship has grown immensely since then. I fondly remember my first trip to Disney in 2016, and the warm welcome by the rest of Laise’s family. One of my favorite memories being the "On the Run Tour II," a surprise from my Dad and Laise. Despite the threat of rain and an unexpected tornado warning in New Jersey, it was an unforgettable experience.
Over the years I’ve come to realize that I would have Laise to always be cheering me on, inspiring greatness, and that she would always there – especially when it involves securing fresh french fries at a drive-thru.
Jade Lowachee - Bridesmaid
I am Jade, the bride’s one and only niece. My auntie Laise and I, have many memories together that have grown throughout the years. Our trips to places like Jamaica, Colorado, New York and many more, have also embedded social moments of laughter and joy.
Additionally, our biggest connecting factor is our colorful attitudes. We are very similar in a way thats brings us even closer together.
Ameer Vincent - Best Man
I am Ameer. Stan is close friend and trusted confidant, known for his fun personality and unwavering loyalty. We met in the barbershop and it was off to the races from there as we had similar interest in music and traveling. As the best man in this wedding, I have taken on the role with enthusiasm and dedication, ensuring that it is perfect for the special day. Looking forward to add a touch of humor and heartfelt sentiment to the wedding festivities, celebrating the love and union of the happy couple.
Jaydon Everett - Groomsman
I’m Jaydon, a freshman at SUNY Albany majoring in Cyber Security, and it fills me with pride to serve as both the son of the groom and a beloved member of the wedding party. Among the countless memories I share with my father, our weekly summer bowling excursions stand out as moments of pure joy and connection. Despite my frequent losses, the promise of ice cream or slushies at the end always made up for any disappointment, creating cherished memories that have woven an unbreakable bond between us. These moments have shaped our relationship, which made me the man I am today, and instilled in me a profound sense of pride as I stand by his side on this momentous occasion.
Michael Fallen - Groomsman
I am Michael Fallen, also known as DJ Young Wise. I first encountered Stan approximately 15 years ago through a mutual acquaintance, DJ Keduce. Subsequently, we both became members of the DeeJay group known as the Upstate Heavyweights, with which we still maintain affiliation. One particularly memorable occasion that Stan and I share is when he accompanied my wife and me on our inaugural date, and he later served as a groomsman at our wedding. Stan has consistently demonstrated himself to be a dependable friend, akin to a brother, always available to assist in any capacity. It is with great pleasure that I stand alongside him on this momentous occasion. Congratulations to both you and your partner. May your union be blessed with enduring happiness and prosperity.
Angelo Maddox - Groomsman
I met Stan through our mutual friend, who was preparing for his wedding back in 2004 (Happy 20th Anniversary to us 😎). We have a myriad amount of memories that stand out in my mind but above all the many great times we have had throughout the years. The one thing I love & respect about Stan is that he is ALWAYS there for his friends. No matter if I needed someone to take a road trip with me, talk to, or DJ at my daughters birthday party he’s always been there. Through his demonstration as a friend he has become my brother. I know that that’s exactly how he will be as a husband. So Laise, you are a blessed and equally great woman to have “Stan the Man” as your husband.
Benjamin Morton - Groomsman
Hello everyone, my name is Ben Morton. I was born and raised in Albany ny. I met stan in the late 80's early 90's but it feels like I've known him forever. Stan is more like family than just a friend to me. We've had soo many great adventures squeezed in that time frame, from our many late-nights with "Elvis" at Sneaky Pete's, to being detained coming home from Jamaica. We would jump in the Corsica and end might up anywhere at the drop of a dime.. Stan and Laise, I wish you all the best for you future together.
Jelani Motley - Groomsman
I'm Jelani, one of the honored groomsmen. I was born and raised in good ole in Albany, NY. I have known Stanley Everett for about 20+ years. Though he is a little older than me, we became very close friends instantly, with both interests in producing music, traveling and big aspirations from our various talents, we also lived as room mates and co-workers in NYC/NJ for a while. I also like to think we are still a music production group "Young & Hungry" in the house lol. I have a lot of memories during our friendship, but overall the time we were living together both dead broke, trying to pay the light bill and grinding just to take care of our children. Now look at us! Congratulations brother 💪🏾.

One of them in which he first met Laise. And I always told him "that's the one for you!! Just wait and see.. she's the one!" I look forward to seeing you in your new journey Cuzzin! Love you both!
