Our Wedding

Where do we begin?!? 2012 Jason and LaKeysha developed a casual client relationship. Their Groomsman Robert (another barber at the House of Blends and a mutual high school friend of LaKeysha) knew that LaKeysha was looking for a barber for her son. As LaKeysha's crush on Jason developed and their interactions grew in day to day conversations about life, Jason mentioned in a conversation "you are a woman that any man would want because you handle your business, a great mother and intelligent". That statement went a long way and something that LaKeysha cherished for a lifetime. On the other hand Jason would say "it was the look over the shoulder" and as he confessed his love for her amongst his friends and coworkers " Its over, I've found my wife". As time passed they begun to date, with their very memorable first date at The Melting Pot ( San Rafael, CA). After that everything went uphill and Jason proposed to LaKeysha on January 13, 2016 at UC Berkeley during a daily admissions presentation that was lead by LaKeysha. They look forward in spending the rest of their lives together.

Pitsburg, CA - Deon and Jason met on the football field at Pinole Valley High School as they were trying out for the  Pinole Valley Spartans. Who knew after a summer of football camp and more they would have became best friends. They consider one another as brothers.

Oakland, CA- Jazmine met LaKeysha during their college years at UC Berkeley and been best of friends ever since. Jazmine has never left LaKeysha side in any situation. She is outgoing, adventurous, reliable and really keeps it 100%.

Brentwood, CA- Natalie was once neighbors with LaKeysha and later they developed a sisterly bond. Natalie has a loving and caring personality.

Natalie Young

Kansas City, MO - Don is Jason's cousin but they're more like my brothers! The youngest son of Jason's Aunt Freda (Jason's mothers youngest sister). Although they are miles apart they have always remained close. There is not a time that Jason doesn't touch Kansas City and they don't get together!

Vallejo, CA- Rachelle and LaKeysha has known each other since their early elementary days at Wardlaw  in Vallejo, CA. They have shared over 20 years of friendship with many more to go. Rachelle has a reserved and free spirit personality.

Sacramento, CA - Jason &amp; Rahim has been cousins since diapers. These two grew up spending endless weekends  &amp; summer nights together.

Hayward, CA-  Niesha and LaKeysha met through Jazmine. Never thought I would meet another woman in my adult years that I can depend on and call a friend. Niesha is outspoken and adventourous.

Berkeley, CA - Jason &amp; Dennis are closer than cousins more like brothers since their diaper ages. As both Jason &amp; Dennis older sisters were bestie's they too became close growing up.

Oakland, CA- Ausha and LaKeysha met through Jazmine and she has also been a true friend from day one. Ausha is the life of the party.

Richmond, CA - Jason &amp; Kendall met through a mutual friend ( Tyree Toney ).  Kendall and Tyree were like older brothers that always looked out for Jason. Kendall and Jason's friendship over the years became close.

Vallejo, CA- Shanell and LaKeysha became cousins when Shanell married into the family. They have been rocking ever since as if they have known one another for a lifetime. Shanell has a sense of humor and is always ready to have a good time.

Jason &amp; Robert became co-workers a few years ago at the House of Blends Barber Club. Rob &amp; Jason became good friends outside of the workplace, and Rob is responsible for initially introducing Jason &amp; Lakeysha!

Richmond, CA- Charlie and LaKeysha use to work at ITT Tech together and synced ever since they met. We all consider her as "the fashion diva" on top of her bubbly personality.

Fairfield, CA - This teenager, Jaylen Jones is Jason &amp; Lakeysha's oldest son!

San Pablo, CA- This little guy is full of energy and excitement. Tavy is  Jason &amp; LaKeysha's son.

Gilbert, AZ- These little girls are twins filled with lots of creativity and cuteness. They are Jason &amp; LaKeysha's nieces.

Richmond, CA- Robin is LaKeysha's cousin who has been in the family for over 20 years . She has a bubbly personality and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Richmond, CA- Dorian is LaKeysha's cousin. He will soon be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts at Expressions College in Sound Engineering.

Oakland, CA- Joline met LaKeysha through Jazmine. She has a sweet personality as well as a  fantastic mother. She is a realiable individual.
