What can I except during the Indian ceremony ?
During the Indian wedding ceremony, guests can expect to observe several sacred rituals. These include the Indian prayers (a.k.a. Pujas) and the Saptapadi/Pheras (where the couple takes seven steps around a sacred fire, each representing a vow). The groom ties the Mangalsutra/Thali around the bride’s neck, symbolizing their union, and the couple receives Ashirwad (blessings) from elders. Guests will be observing these beautiful customs and prayers without needing to participate, allowing them to immerse themselves in the rich cultural experience.
Do I need to RSVP and is there a deadline?
We absolutely do need you to RSVP to whichever events you will be attending. The deadline to RSVP is February 16th.
Are there separate RSVPs for the Indian ceremony and Reception?
Yes, there are separate RSVPs for the events. And you can get to both of them through this website.
