Friday, November 23rd, 2018 marked the start of our incredible journey together.

What began as an ordinary day turned into the beginning of something extraordinary. Our paths, unknown to us, had been subtly intertwining until they finally collided on this special day.

From that moment on, we became inseparable, cherishing every moment spent together. Whether we were spontaneously going for drives, soaking up the sun at the beach, or stumbling upon breathtaking lookouts, as long as we were together, nothing else mattered.

New Year's Eve 2018 holds a special place in our hearts. At the Wollongong lighthouse, as the clock struck midnight, amidst a burst of fireworks, Riyaad said those three words every girl waits to hear: "I Love You."

We seamlessly integrated into each other's families, finding comfort and joy in our shared bonds. Our mutual love for adventure and our families became the foundation of our relationship, strengthening our connection with every shared laugh and memory.

Our adventures continued as we delved deeper into each other's worlds, discovering shared passions like Riyaad's love for fishing and cars. Those beach outings? They weren't just about leisure; they were scouting missions for the perfect fishing spot, adding an element of excitement to our day trips.

As the years unfolded, we found ourselves not only growing individually but also growing together as a couple. With each passing day, we faced life's unpredictable twists and turns side by side, hand in hand. Together, we weathered storms and celebrated triumphs, learning and evolving as individuals and as partners.

July 29th became another unforgettable day in our story. At the Powerhouse Museum, amidst the wonders of history and art, Riyaad got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. The moment I turned around to see him, asking me those four simple words, the feeling was indescribable. Without hesitation, I said yes, knowing deep in my heart that there was no one else I would rather share life's adventures with.

That day was a whirlwind of happiness and love, igniting us with excitement for the journey ahead.
