This love story began one, rare sunny afternoon in Seattle while Lamont was walking his dog, Asha, and Keisha was checking her mailbox. Only God knew that a mere trip to the mailbox would blossom into an exciting journey of love, laughter, and endless adventures. Asha, the ever so friendly pup, tugged on her leash to greet Keisha. After chuckling over Asha's enthusiasm, Lamont and Keisha struck up a conversation about their shared military interest. Their unintentional mailbox meetings soon became a cherished routine, filled with more chuckles and growing affection. As winter turned to spring, their walks extended to the park, where Asha played, and they shared their dreams and life stories. One drizzly Seattle day, Lamont invited Keisha to their favorite beach with the rain only adding to the city's charm. Under the shelter of an umbrella, Lamont knelt down on one knee, holding a ring that sparkled even in the drizzle. "Keisha, will you marry me?" he asked, his heart pounding with hope. Tears of joy filled her eyes as she said, "Yes, Lamont, I will." At this moment, their love story took on a deeper significance. Or perhaps, the day unfolded with Keisha enjoying every bite of a delectable meal, completely immersed in the flavors and oblivious to her surroundings. Lamont quietly slipped out of his chair and knelt beside her, presenting a small black box while popping the question with confident eyes.
