Landon and Naomi met August 31, 2008. The Green family had moved to Windsor and their families attended the same church. The two grew up knowing one another, however, it wasn’t until their later teen years when similar interests brought them together. They enjoyed mountain biking, playing various sports with church groups and dirt biking together. One day when they were dirt biking with cousins, Naomi crashed and landed in a mud hole. This was the day Landon thought ‘yeah I'm gonna marry this one’. The two began chatting and connecting and within a few months it was official. At the beach, with a bouquet of flowers, Landon asked Naomi to be his girlfriend (13 years to the day after they had met). 3 and 1/2 years of dating included several family trips (cruise to the Caribbean, Cuba) and so many wonderful memories and injuries made along the way. In February 2024 Landon "secretly" planned a trip to his grandparents' cabin. Down on one knee he asked Naomi to marry him. The year following was filled with more family adventures, trips and wedding planning (their own along with weddings of friends and family). In December, they purchased their first house in Amherstburg. They look forward to making it a home and creating many memories in it.
