Q + A

Do I need a passport?

Virgin Gorda is a British territory so you will need a passport.

What currency does the BVI use?

US dollars! I would recommend bringing some cash, but most places also take card. Make sure to let your bank know you are traveling!

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING MOST OF THE TIME ON OUR CHARTER?

There is plenty to do while you are on your charter. We will be island hopping and taking the dingy to shore to go to many different bars, beaches, restaurants and other attractions. There will be lots of snorkeling, swimming and exploring! Check Things To Do Tab!

What will we eat?

We'll have most of our meals on board, but there’s always the option to head into the islands for food or drinks whenever you’d like! When we visit Anegada, I highly recommend having dinner off the boat that night—they have some of the freshest, most amazing lobster you'll ever taste!

What to wear?

SWIMSUITS! You'll be in swimsuits every day. For when you're out of the water, bring cover-ups, breezy lounge clothes, shorts, shirts, and sundresses. A sweatshirt for cooler nights is also a good idea. You will need an outfit for the welcome party and wedding. Water shoes and sandals are key, but you'll probably be barefoot most of the time. Also, hats and sunglasses are a must! Think casual, breathable, and easy-to-rewear items.

How should I pack?

Please back in a duffle bag or a rolling suit case that has a soft fabric top. You will unpack your things into drawers and we will store suitcases underneath to make more room. Packing cubes are nice to have! There is not a ton of room in the bathrooms so I recommend a toiletries bag.

What should I pack?

Reef safe sunscreen, bug spray, passport, portable speaker, a dry bag, games, refillable water bottle. Do NOT worry about snorkel gear, it will be provided.
