Landyn and Marcus met when they were in the 3rd or 4th grade. They grew up going to church and homeschool tutorial together but they weren't very close until senior year of high school. Their friendship sparked around Halloween of 2021 and it only grew from there. Landyn took Marcus to her senior prom, as friends of course, but by the end of the night they had both confessed their feelings to each other. Landyn was going to Baylor in Texas for college and Marcus was staying in Tennessee at Freed Hardeman so they decided to stay friends, for now. But after fighting feelings, a "not-date" that became a date, and lots of late night talks Marcus (finally) asked Landyn to be his girlfriend in June of 2022. The story doesn't end there though! They survived long distance all the way through college with only a few visits a semester. They survived long summers with internships that kept them apart. And they enjoyed their time spent together on breaks, especially Thanksgiving break 2024 when Marcus proposed to Landyn in the place where they first said "I love you." And even now, their story continues as they say "I do" in January 2026.
