Joe Sullivan
Joe Sullivan - Groomsman & Officiant
My second longest roommate, only to be surpassed by Nicole. Joe and I grew up 10 minutes from each other, had mutual childhood friends, and went to the same college, but it wasn't really until after college our paths would cross and we became friends. We both were moving to Dallas upon graduation for work so I randomly texted him one day saying we should live together. One of the best decisions I've made, Joe and I quickly became inseparable. I had family and friends constantly visiting in Dallas and everyone quickly fell in love with Joey for his nonstop energy and positive outlook on life. I don't mean this lightly, he's the nicest person I have ever met and Nicole and I couldn't think of a more perfect person to marry us.

Zane Borsos
Zane Borsos - Best Man
Zane and Adam (also a groomsman) were roommates freshman year just a few doors down from me. I met them both my first night of college. Zane was invited to a fraternity party off campus. You would think Zane had Willy Wonka's final golden ticket in his hand seeing him going up and down our co-ed hall announcing to everyone interested he would take them to their first college party. At this point I wasn't too sure if I was a fan of the guy with a similar name, but ultimately I ended up joining him. I'm glad I did because it started the foundation of a lifelong friend. More recently, Zane and I spend our time together golfing and discussing life updates, hobbies, and career aspirations.
Hannah Miller
Hannah Miller - Maid of Honor
Hannah and I met the summer of 2013 through a mutual friend before our freshman year at Michigan State. Just a few weeks later, after hanging out only twice, we quickly agreed to be roommates the following year. We ended up living together for three years at MSU and another two years in Royal Oak, creating countless memories along the way. Thankfully, we now live just three miles apart and still see each other multiple times a week. Hannah is an amazing friend and an even better Physician Assistant—always on call for all of our friends' medical needs.
Jenson Munce
Jenson Munce - Groomsman
Nicole and I had been dating for about 2.5 years and I had met Chloe many times by that point. Chloe would always mention to me how Jenson and I would get along and are very similar. We finally met in 2020 and the rest was history. Before the end of our first date, we had our next one already planned. Nicole and Chloe often vocalize their regret for introducing us due to the amount of time we spend together golfing, smoking meats, watching sports, and discussing other business related topics on our weekly, sometimes daily phone calls.
Chloe Munce
Chloe Munce - Matron of Honor
Chloe Lynn and I have been friends since 2006 meeting in the sixth grade and have been through it all together—from middle school dances to weddings and everything in between. You won’t meet a sweeter, more genuine person—unless you’re playing a board game against her, in which case her fiercely competitive side comes out. It only makes life better that our men have become such great friends too. A few summers ago, the four of us formed our golf group, the Bad Birdies, and we've been spending many weekends golfing and having fun together ever since.
Adam Haydel
Adam Haydel - Groomsman
Adam and I became roommates the second semester of our Freshman year after Zane moved out. During that semester I saw first hand how generous and kind Adam was. There isn't anything he wouldn't do for those closest to him. As the years have passed Adams entire family has become like family, hosting Nicole and I for some of the most epic weekends at their lake house with boat rides over to Put-in-Bay. It's always one of our favorite weekends of the summer!
Dr. Penelope Friday-Taykowsi
Dr. Penelope Friday-Taykowsi - Bridesmaid
You’ll never meet a more fun and energetic person than Polly. You can usually find her on the dance floor, getting everyone involved in the party. Polly and I met at Michigan State, where we instantly connected and became fast friends—she just has that effect on people. There’s nothing we love more than getting together and enjoying a nice glass of Veuve. I also couldn’t be more proud of her for all of her hard work with just finishing her PhD!
Dillon Green
Dillon Green - Groomsman
Dillon and I met as freshman through Delta Chi and lived together our Junior/Senior year. He's a fiercely loyal friend and one of the easiest people to talk to. Dillon's always one of my first calls when I'm on the road traveling for work because we can talk for hours just catching up. Some of my favorite memories with Dillon are watching him try to keep up skiing out west ;)
McKenzie Lane
McKenzie Lane - Bridesmaid
Kenz and I met in 2013 during our freshman year at Michigan State when we lived across the hall from each other in the dorms. We made so many great memories, but one of my favorites is the time I convinced Kenz to quit her job so we could go to Indianapolis for the weekend to watch MSU play in the Final Four—a trip we still look back on to this day. Though she’s now a Cali girl, the distance has only made our friendship stronger.
Brandon Pfahl
Brandon Pfahl - Groomsman
I think I've called him Brandon once in my life and we both froze and questioned if that really just happened.. It's B. B and I met through Delta Chi and lived together our Sophomore year. It didn't matter if we were in our dorm or at a party with a couple hundred people I always found myself in the vicinity of B having a good laugh. B has a calming presence about him and he's simply the easiest person to be friends with.
Sydney Knoll
Sydney Knoll - Bridesmaid
Syd and I have been friends since 2009, our freshman year of high school. Sometimes, it feels like just yesterday we were sneaking out of her parents' house in the middle of the night together. I’ll never forget when she came to visit me while I was living in Dallas and got to meet Lane for the first time. That weekend was one of the best—just like every time we’re out and about together!
Alex Songaila
Alex Songaila - Groomsman
Alex is my second cousin, but has really been more like a brother. Family vacations.. Alex and his family were there. When my sisters came to visit at BGSU, Dallas, Detroit or anywhere else Alex was also there. He's 1 of 1 and has a unique ability to get our whole family laughing in a way no one else can. Alex worked for United Airlines after college where he blessed me with his coveted companion pass. We spent many weekends in airports and on planes exploring the world. Experiencing new places together like South Africa, Belgium, England, Alaska and Hawaii creates a special bond that's hard to articulate. Truly one of the best experiences that provided us memories we'll reminisce on for the rest of our lives.
Kendall Anderson
Kendall Anderson - Bridesmaid
One of the best parts of marrying Lane is that I get to officially call Kendall my sister. From the moment we met in Dallas when she flew in for the weekend, I knew I loved this girl. Kendall is one of the most loyal people I’ve ever met, and I know I can always count on her to have my back and to always drink an espresso martini with me. I’m forever grateful to know her and love her—not to mention, she’s the best mama to little Walker man!
Mark Shanahan
Mark Shanahan - Groomsman
Marky, the oldest friend I have. We met in 3rd grade and have been best buds ever since. Over the years friend groups change with people coming and going but no matter what Shanny and I stuck together. It's cool to look back on our friendship and how it's evolved over the years. Although it gets harder to see each other as often being hours apart, we're still just as close as the days of attending school together all week and sleepovers every weekend.
Madison Farnsworth
Madison Farnsworth - Bridesmaid
I also get to officially call Madison my sister, and I couldn’t be happier! I can always count on her to be right there with me, having a great time. She’s the only person I’ve ever convinced to jump into a water fountain with me—after just meeting—while walking home from the Dallas bars. Seeing her live her best life in Seattle is amazing, but thankfully, she’s always the first to jump on a flight home for a visit.
Steve Kanis
Steve Kanis - Groomsman
Steve was the coolest kid I knew growing up. I'm pretty sure my first memory of meeting Steve was in 4th grade, we went to different schools so I knew of him through sports but didn't really know him. We were playing football at the park and he had the new Reggie Bush cleats (cool) meanwhile I was probably wearing a pair of Land Sharks (not cool). Even after that interaction, Steve decided to be my friend years later when we went to the same middle school. I've always admired Steve for his strong moral compass, which makes him a great police officer.
Sydney Hauska
Sydney Hauska - Bridesmaid
Sydney and I met in 2017 when we started working at General Motors together. Not long after, a coworker planned a trip to Iceland, and both Sydney and I decided to go—rooming together despite barely knowing each other. We’ve been amazing friends ever since. I can always count on Syd for advice, and even though we no longer work at GM together, we still talk daily. There’s no one else I’d rather play a game of Catan with.
Scott Anderson
Scott Anderson - Groomsman
Scott has led the way, showing me what it means to be a great husband and more recently a great father to my nephew, Walker. I always find it so inspiring seeing how much Scott cares for his family and friends.
Walker Anderson
Walker Anderson - Ring Bearer
Our sweet nephew—Walker. Our wedding day also happens to be his first birthday, making it the best first birthday party ever!
Ryan Kovach
Ryan Kovach - Usher
Ryan is my older brother, as we have gotten older I love that we have grown closer. There is no one that loves a Detroit sports team more than this guy.
