What is the timeline for the wedding day?
Ceremony starts at 4pm
After the ceremony all immediate family (grandparents, parents, bridal party, siblings, etc) will stay outside for pictures, while the rest of the guest go upstairs to the reception hall. Pictures should only take 30 min roughly. But while you wait for the Bride & Groom you can participate in our Photo Booth.
Reception should start a at 5:30 - 6:00. We have to be out of the event center by 11. The big exit will happen around 10:30pm after the Bride and Groom have their private last dance.
Is there a dress code?
Yes and no. We prefer you wear something dressy, but men do not have to wear suits if they don't want to and women do not have to wear dresses if they don't want to.
Can I bring kids to the wedding?
YES, kids are welcome. We just ask for you keep a close eye on them and don't let them run wild, where the rest of guest are stressed out from them.
Can I bring a plus 1?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a plus 1, IF they are on the RSVP. We have a limited amount of seating and don't want anyone sitting on the floor.
Who do I send the RSVP to?
You will send the RSVPs back to mine and Lane's address that is on the little envelope included in your invite. If you got a little piece of paper in with your invite or Save The Date because we ran out of Invites and RSVPs then please follow the instructions on that. :)
Will the ceremony or reception be indoor or outdoor?
The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) and the reception will be inside. Remember it is going to be October, so if you think you'll need a jacket of some sort please bring one.
Where should you park at the wedding?
You will enter through ENTRANCE B, this will take you straight to the parking lot. You will need to park at the FIRST building (Information building) if there is no parking left in that area, turn left follow the boat ramps and park down in that area.
Can you take photos during the wedding?
Yes you may take photos, but please don't get in the way of the photographer, she is the one we're paying :)
What if you have dietary restrictions that limits you from eating certain foods?
We have already taken that into consideration. Since Lane and lots of his family have a severe peanut and tree nut allergy, there will be no food that has any sort of contact with peanuts or tree nuts. If you are allergic to gluten or dairy we suggest you don't eat the donuts ;) and pick and choose what you can and cannot eat for the main course.
Where are we registered?
Amazon and The Knot
Will there be alcohol?
There will be alcohol but when it’s gone it’s gone. If you drink, please drink responsibly and get you and your party home SAFELY!!!!
