The Lord’s faithfulness has been evident to us throughout the years. He began writing our story in high school:

During Brynn’s junior year, she grew close to a sweet friend, Sarah Ebert, who happened to be Lane’s cousin. After hearing about each other through Sarah, they both decided to hang out together. On November 14, 2020, the three of them spent the evening driving around Beresford chatting with each other. It wasn’t long before Lane asked for Brynn’s number and they continued to get to know each other. After months of prayer and seeking wisdom, Lane and Brynn began dating on March 5, 2021! Their first official date was at Chick-Fil-A in Sioux City, Iowa. From the beginning, Brynn was drawn to Lane’s passion for the Lord, quality of gentleness, and clear intentionality. Lane admired Brynn’s love for the Lord, kindness, and servant heart. By the summer of 2021, they knew that the Lord was walking them towards marriage someday in the future. In the meantime, they continued to pursue the Lord and sought to honor Him through their relationship. Together, they walked through seasons of loss, lasts, beginnings, and mundanes. On June 9, 2024, Lane took Brynn on a date to Yankton, South Dakota. After a quick dinner, they set out on a Lewis and Clark Lake hiking trail. At the end of the trail, overlooking the lake, Lane asked Brynn to spend the rest of their lives together. Each day, they are reminded of how the Lord has paid the ultimate price for their sins on the cross, giving them new life and hope for eternity with their Creator. From here until eternity, they look forward to pursing the Lord together as husband and wife, reflecting the love of Christ and His church.
