We met on August 31st in 2018 through mutual friends!

We didn't date during college, but we spent lots of time together and traveled to see each other between Stillwater and Dallas (and anywhere between!) This photo was taken in Norman, OK.

Burl came up to Stillwater to visit me for the first time since he graduated and was drafted. This was the weekend we really became serious about each other and knew we wanted to pursue a relationship!

I flew to Phoenix, Arizona to visit Burl at his very first Spring Training. On this trip, he asked me to be his girlfriend! (Long time coming, I know. So worth the wait!)

Burl spent that summer in South Bend, Indiana playing ball. I was able to travel back and forth from home in Texas to Indiana to see him! My job was very flexible with me working remotely, it was wonderful!

We did so many fun things together - like day trip to the beach of Lake Michigan!

Officially Off Season and Burl came back to Texas! This was the day Burl converted me to be a Houston Texans fan!! (Sorry mom & dad)

Burl headed off to Knoxville, TN to play for the Tennessee Smokies.

Burl moved to Phoenix, Arizona to rehab from a few baseball injuries. My company had a office location in Phoenix, so I was able to work from office and visit Burl whenever I pleased. We grew to love Arizona and did many fun things - like daytrip to the Grand Canyon!

On my birthday, Burl took me on a River Boat Cruise through the Salt River in Arizona - it was incredible! The views were amazing. I moved to Phoenix full-time to be with Burl shortly after this!

Making the most of living in Arizona together - hiking frequently! Slowly became one of our favorite things to do together. I moved home to be back in my home office in Dallas shortly after this.

My family goes to Orange Beach, AL for Thanksgiving every year - Burl got to join us for the first time this year! So much fun being all together in one of my most favorite places.

I surprised a visit to Burl in Phoenix on our 3 year anniversary and we decided I would ask my company if I could move back to Phoenix full-time. It had been exactly a year since I moved home. We were ready to not be long distance anymore!

Officially living together in Arizona again! Hiking at our favorite spot - South Mountain. A short 3 minute drive from our apartment to the base of the mountain!

Dinner for Burl's birthday at a new spot - The Global Ambassador Hotel in Phoenix. Little did we (I) know that in 3 months we would be getting engaged here. EEEP!

EEEEPPP!! BEST DAY EVER! Burl asked me to be his wife on the 6 year anniversary of when we met!! I was so surprised and had no idea this was happening on this day. He got me dressed up to take me out to a "belated birthday dinner" and then instead popped the question! Our families popped out from behind the bushes and celebrated with us. Burl booked a private dining room in the rooftop restaurant that overlooked Camelback Mountain. It was so magical! He thought of every single detail himself. It could not have been more perfect!

We adopted a puppy from the Arizona Humane Society. Meet Wallace!! (also known as Wally, or sometimes Rufus).

Our last date night in Phoenix together (at the Global Ambassador of course) before we both move away. I am headed back to Texas to work and find a home base for us to live after marriage, and Burl is headed to South Bend, Indiana to play ball. We are so excited to see what this summer brings and CANNOT WAIT for October 26th, 2025!!!!
