It all started just from just a simple text, little did we know our lives would have changed forever. From the moment I arrived at that Mexican restaurant and walked in I could feel the nerves settling in me. The first three minutes, no words were spoken neither one of us said anything, I could feel the nerves in both of us. It was me, him and a bowl of chips and salsa that he was devouring. Eventually one of us knew we had to talk and we instantly connected, by the end of the night we knew that we were the one for each other. The funniest memory from that night and what I laughed about to this day is all the change falling out of his wallet as he was asking me on a second date. Without a doubt I said yes and that's where our journey began.

Fast forward to a sunny day in March, I told Laney to get dressed up we are going out to dinner, little did she know I had something else planned. On the car ride there all I could think about was not messing this whole thing up. Once we arrived we got out of the car and started making our way over to the spot, as we were walking over the beautiful bridge she looked back and saw all the family. We then made it over the bridge and a pathway of flowers and pictures lead the way to the arch. I then got down on one knee I of course got the ring stuck in my pocket and I asked her to be my forever as the tag was still attached to the ring. Even with all the funny mistakes the moment was still perfect.
