The RDU airport is located 30 minutes from the Colonial Inn. The entire wedding weekend will be in Hillsborough which is a walkable town. If you would prefer to rent a car, there is parking available at the Inn.

Assuming nice weather the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The dinner will be served inside. The venue can accommodate either option.

Elevated Cocktail Attire

Your invitation will indicate if you were given a plus one to bring to the event.

We will be limiting this to family members. If you have questions please reach out.

We will be serving a buffet style meal. There are options for those who are gluten free or vegetarian, so please indicate that in your RSVP under the dietary restrictions note.

Yes, there will be an open bar serving cocktails, wine & beer. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages for those who prefer that option.

Please arrive to the venue by 4:00 PM. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. Feel free to relax at the Inn, explore Hillsborough, or venture to one of the nearby cities! We highly recommend touring UNC Chapel Hill and Duke.

After the ceremony, the reception will be at the same venue. There will be a cocktail hour with appetizers. Followed by dinner & dancing. Shuttles will be available starting at 9:30 PM.
