Where the wedding will be:
Montes Claros, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Venue Location:
Galo Garden, Montes Claros
R. Aderaldino Fernandes da Silva, 907 - Barcelona Park, Montes Claros - MG, 39401-820, Brazil
Tips on How to Get There:
Fly to the Montes Claros airport (MOC). Make sure you book a flight from BOS (or wherever you begin your trip) to MOC (Montes Claros Airport). You will have at least one layover since there are no direct flights to MOC from the US. Try to pick an itinerary with a layover in Sao Paulo to avoid additional layovers.
There are direct flights from Boston to Sao Paulo with Latam Airlines. You will then take a flight from Sao Paulo to Montes Claros. However, sometimes there are cheaper flights (or flights with less total travel time) that have an additional layover in another US city.

Language
In the big cities like Sao Paulo, you are likely to encounter English speakers, but in smaller cities like Montes Claros, English is less common. You can use Google Translate or another app to help you communicate, Brazilians are very patient and helpful (and if you learn a few basic phrases they will be extremely impressed and happy). Just remember they speak Portuguese NOT Spanish, but they might understand some basic Spanish phrases if it's similar enough to Portuguese.
