LaRae's Story:*The Mysterious Guy/Guy: Leo*In the summer of 2017, being a single mother, I began to hang out at "The 707"-a local lounge/bar to watch sports on the big screen, listen to music, unwind, and spend a little "ME" time. While I was chilling and enjoying "ME" doing "ME", I often would see this mysterious, handsome, sexy, "chocolate guy," that stood at the end of the bar and always ordered a "double Heineken beer." &nbsp;Every time I seen him, he was always wearing a nice outfit: dress shoes, jacket, slacks, nice dress shirt and sometimes a tie. I was immediately intrigued by him. I wondered to myself... "Hmm, I wonder what he does for a living and if he is with anyone?" &nbsp;One night, I finally got up enough courage to say, "Hello" and ask what he did for a living. As I recall, he told me that he worked on computers in an IT department. The conversation continued to flow, effortlessly, and like a gentleman he offered me a beer. I gladly accepted! I felt, so, comfortable getting to know him that when he asked, what I did for a living, I shared with him not just what I do for my 9-5 but my life as single mother oftwo, beautiful daughters, attending to college,and pursing my goals as a business owner. &nbsp;Overtime, we would exchange glances and have short conversations, when we would see one another, at the lounge. But, FINALLY, one night, as I was leaving, my "HUSBAND TO BE" was playing a game of pool, with a guy I went to high school with, named Curtis. (Curtis our match maker). As I was about to exit the door, surprisingly, he spoke to me. He asked... "Are you with anyone?" Then he said, "You're pretty." I thanked him. But I answered wrong to his initial question (with a YES). I was having drinks with an old friend -so technically I was there with someone, but I wasn't with that person on an intimate, romantic, or committed level. &nbsp;Once I left, I was revisiting the moment, in my mind, and it dawned on me that I sent the wrong message (that I was taken). I suddenly felt compelled to explain and be clear, with this guy, because I'm a very honest person. Also, I was interested in him and did not want him to think I was not single. &nbsp;So, once I returned home, I took a leap of faith, called up to the bar and asked for Curtis to get on the line. I asked him to give his friend (Leo) my number. To my surprise, I received a call that same night, but it was late. I found myself quite offended, at the hour he decided to call, but I was still impressed that he called, the very same night. &nbsp;I have to say, in observing him from a distance, I knew that Leo was special and a different caliber of a man that I had never experienced, before. Within a few short days, we wanted to see one another, again, so we made a date to meet at the lounge, to hang out. This, without a doubt, was one of the FUNNEST nights of my life! We played several games of pool, laughed, had drinks, sang karaoke, and ENJOYED OUR TIME TOGTHER! &nbsp;After that night, we began to speak on a daily, basis. As time progressed and our feelings began to grow beyond a friendship, we had a serious conversation about our expectations, as it related to our new friendship. We both expressed our thoughts and the feelings in our hearts. We knew that we had something uniquely special and seen no reason to continue to live our lives apart. We knew that we wanted to be together and have we've been together ever since, without pause.The rest is OUR history.... &nbsp;Leo is my KING, my SOULMATE, and the LOVE OF MY LIFE. I am proud and honored to become his WIFE.

Let me tell you what happened!! If you are from the Flats, you know about the suite 21 aka 707 lounge. I used to chill there after work. Drink couple of beers and socialize before heading out to SAC because traffic was not coo. One day, I happened to open those double doors and unknowingly destiny allowed me to met my future wife sitting down and the bar with all that _ss hanging out the seat!! I said to myself, DAMN!! That guy must be happy to have all that!! She had a male friend with her watching the football game on TV. I’ve seen her a few times coming in here. I’m very friendly person so I said hello because they both looked at me when I entered. The only person who said hello was him! She didn’t say anything. She just looked and then turned her head towards the game. I said to myself, ok?? No hello? So I&nbsp;walked past them to my regular spot with nothing else to think of but finishing off my normal routine. After a couple of hours, a friend comes thru I recently meet there. His name was Curtis. It was his birthday and he was trying to celebrate with Budweiser light beer! I persuaded him to change up and take a real shot and I would buy. Unknowingly Larae knew him and she came over by us leaving her male friend who I thought was her boyfriend. She joined in the celebration shot and cheered him on with us. I said hi to her again. She said hello back?? Ok! She asked me where I worked. I told her Kaiser. After celebration shot and chat, I went outside with Curtis to smoke. She followed. I was on my 3rd Heineken&nbsp;and was feeling good! If ya know what I mean!! She came and hung outside with us. I looked into her eyes and told her, You have a pretty face! She said, Thank you. I then asked her is that your boyfriend inside the bar? She replied, No as she was leaving. A while later Curtis comes to me outside and says “bro!!” You wont believe this. That girl who was here LaRae called the bar phone for me to give you her number. Really I replied?? So I called her and said hello. I spoke to her for a little bit. She told me she wanted to clarify that that guy was not her boyfriend and wanted me to know! I told her cool. We should hang out to chop again. It was around 10 pm so I told her I would talk to her later because she was in bed. She told me are you trying to get off the phone with me? I told her well its late and work is tomorrow. We’ll talk again! I asked her when you come back to 707 Lounge, I will meet you there. I believe couple days later, we met back at 707 lounge. I bought her a drink, Vodka and pickle juice. I thought yuk!! Strange combo but she slapped that shot with da pickle juice! We played pool and chopped up good conversation. She sat on my lap and gave me a kiss at the bar and broke my glasses because it was in my front pocket!! Not sure if anyone remembers my glasses having one arm for a while. I didnt mind my glasses getting broken by that _ss!! It seemed like we had lots of things in common. I could not wait to see her again for next time. She has turned out to be the best thing for me in life! It felt good being around her. We saw each other every opportunity. I could not help but to fall in love with her. It was so easy and Wright!!! Get it??!! LOL! I am happy we met. I have been forever happy and ready for Mrs. Wright to be with me for the rest of my life!
