Larisa’s story has always been one of movement and faith. Growing up, she lived in multiple cities, but no matter where life took her, she always felt God gently calling her back to Louisville, Kentucky—the place that would one day feel like home in more ways than she could imagine.

Unbeknownst to them both, Larisa and Cody’s paths had crossed long before they ever truly met. They attended the same elementary schools and even played Upwards Basketball together, yet their lives never intertwined—until God’s timing made it perfectly clear.

One night, Larisa was invited to attend a friend’s music video shoot. That evening, she met Cody. As the night unfolded, the two found themselves dancing together on a rooftop alongside a childhood friend. In that simple, joyful moment, something began—easy, genuine, and unmistakable.

Soon after, they went to watch UFC fights at a friend’s house—only to realize it was another childhood connection they shared without even knowing it.
