If you're looking for a truly relaxing experience, we highly recommend a visit to Vabali Spa Düsseldorf. We go here everytime we are in Germany. This beautiful wellness retreat offers a peaceful escape with 11 saunas, 4 pools, a restaurant and relaxation areas inspired by Balinese design.


30-40 minute drive from Remscheid.

If you're looking for a more family-friendly option, H2O Sauna- und Badeparadies is a great choice for kids. It features pools, slides, outdoor areas, baby pools, and both warm and cold water pools. Larissa spent a lot of time here as a child and teenager. They also have a beautiful sauna area, completely separate from the pool section and exclusively for adults. Another relaxing experience, I highly recommend a visit to is Mediterana in Bensberg. Enjoy a variety of 13 saunas and 1 steam bath, each offering unique experiences in an authentic atmosphere. As well as multiple thermal pools, including indoor and outdoor options.

Another relaxing experience, we recommend is a visit to Claudius Therme in Cologne. Not as nice as Vabali but still nice. Various thermal pools with temperatures between 33°C and 37°C.

Indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and a saltwater floatation pool. Multiple themed saunas, including a panorama sauna with a view of Cologne Cathedral.
