Fly to either of the following airports: - Milan Malpensa - Milan Bergamo Bergamo Airport, this is either 1 hour 20min car journey or trains are also available. From Malpensa airport, this is 1 hour train journey to Milan Central and then an additional 1 hour train journey to Varenna. Trains from Central train station to Varenna are every 1 hour. Trains can be booked on the Trainline website or at the train stations.
