What time does the event begin?
We will say "I Do" in a small ceremony earlier in the day followed by pictures around the area.
We hope you can join us for a celebration of our wedding beginning with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at 5:00PM, followed by our grand entrance at 5:45PM. Dinner, dancing, and merriment to follow. We can't wait to see you!
What is the dress code?
Semi-formal / Dressy casual -
Please keep the weather in mind for your attire and footwear, as we will have a combination indoor/outdoor location for our reception (i,e., an indoor reception area for dancing and an outdoor tented area for dinner).
What are the transportation options from our hotel to the reception location?
For those staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, we are planning to arrange a shuttle or transportation for guests to and from the reception location. More information to come. For those staying at other hotels, there will be parking available at the Barn. Please drink responsibly if driving or consider arranging transportation ahead of time (such as a taxi, Uber, or Lyft service). Please note that Uber and Lyft are minimally available in this area, so we strongly encourage you to arrange a ride ahead of time or carpool/share a ride with others.
Will children be invited?
Due to space and budget limitations we are unfortunately not able to extend the invitation to all the children of our family and friends. Thank you for understanding!
What is on the menu?
We will have a buffet-style dinner for our reception. The options will include a BBQ meat or two with various side options, or herb-crusted chicken, fettuccini alfredo, and a salad.
If you have a severe food allergy, please let us know so we can do our best to accommodate.
What kind of drinks/beverages will you have?
We will have water, sodas, beer, wine, and a selection of hard liquor and mixers. We will have an open bar, but tips for our bartenders are certainly appreciated.
