We will provide transportation to and from the wedding venue and the two hotels at which we have reserved blocks of rooms.
The bus will depart from The Notary Hotel to the Wedding at 4:00pm (for family so that we can have all the pictures done before the ceremony and reception!) and 4:45 pm (for other hotel guests).
The bus will depart from The Ridgeland Mansion to The Notary Hotel at 10:15pm, 11:00pm, 11:45pm and 12:30am.
(Band ends at 11:30, reception ends at 12:00am).
Other options include a taxi or Uber/Lyft.
There is free parking available at The Ridgeland Mansion but we encourage you to use the bus or another ride service.
This is one of two hotels at which we have reserved a block and is where the bride and groom will be staying! Rooms are a king bed ($199.99). Complimentary wireless internet included.
To make a reservation, please visit Belden Bilheimer Wedding @ the Courtyard or call 877-901-6632 and reference the "Belden Bilheimer Wedding Room Block " or mini code BBH. The cutoff date to make reservations in our room block is August 23rd.
Amtrak is a great way to get into the city without having to deal with traffic or parking. The train station, 30th Street Station, is a quick ride away from the hotel (1 mile away from the hotels).
This is the second hotel at which we have reserved a block! The bride and groom won't be staying here, but it is literally steps away from the other hotel. Rooms are studios with a king or queen bed, sofa bed and kitchen ($199.99). Included is a free hot breakfast buffet as well as complimentary wireless internet.
To make a reservation, please visit Belden Bilheimer Wedding @ The Residence Inn or call 800-331-3131 and reference the "Belden Bilheimer Wedding Room Block ." The cutoff date to make reservations in our room block is August 23rd.
The Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is located approximately 10 miles southwest of the city. To get into the city you can take a taxi or Uber/Lyft, which is about a 20 minute drive (depending on the traffic, of course!). Alternatively, you can take Philadelphia's public transit, SEPTA. Take the Airport Regional Rail Line to Suburban Station or Jefferson Station (both of which are a 0.3mile walk from the hotels).
There are plenty of other options for accommodations in Philadelphia whether it be a different hotel, Airbnb or a friend's couch! If you are looking to stay in a hotel but don't want to stay in Center City at the blocks we have reserved, a good option is the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue (4200 City Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19131; Phone: 215-879-4000) which is also a little closer to the venue (1.5 miles), and next door to Laura's medical school!
If you plan to explore Philadelphia before or after the celebration, there are several ways to get around the city! Philadelphia is a very walkable city, which is what we usually do to get around. Taxis are also easily accessible and there are always Ubers/Lyfts just a couple minutes away (make sure you have the apps downloaded).
We know that the hotel valet parking is expensive so if you plan on leaving your car parked for the weekend (which we recommend!), there are many other parking garages in the area that are cheaper. Check back in for our recommendations closer to the date....
