It started that we worked together in Applebees of Bowie somewhere between 1995 -1996. Though I don't remember a lot of Rod while I worked there, I apparently talked A LOT about my club weekends with him (and he could tell me the gist of them all)! Fast forward to January 2013 when I ran into him at Hilltop Liquor of Bowie while I was shopping for booze (he was working). I asked for his business card and we exchanged numbers and met for about 3 dates. Timing wasn't right just yet for me, but I knew I was totally interested. Almost a whole year went by and I reached back out in December of 2013 hoping that he was still available. To my surprise he was, and he must have felt the same so we met up December 17th (I believe) at Starbucks that evening in Waugh Chapel Shopping Center, and the rest was history.

This was my daughter Makenzie at my niece Samantha’s wedding in 2014 at the same Jefferson Patterson Park. It’s now about that time again, to have both of these two lovely women by MY side on my very own wedding day. This makes my heart so happy.
