Jason and I met in Killeen, Texas while I was on a travel nurse assignment at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, Texas. I decided to go out one night and ended up going to IHOP after the bar closed. I was with some people I had just met and we sat down at a table. Not knowing this at the time I sat down next to the man who would forever change the course of my life.

That man was Jason and we decided to go out for the first time on Valentine’s Day, since neither one of us has anything else to do. The evening was a chill one. We had dinner and then went to play some pool. He ended up driving me home and that was the beginning of our forever love story.
