The famous Montauk Point Lighthouse is located at the very tip of eastern Long Island, providing unforgettable 360° views.
It was commissioned by President George Washington in 1792, it is one of the best-known and most-beloved icons of Long Island. As of today, it is the fourth-oldest working lighthouse in the nation.
They offer horseback riding all the way to the beach and it is beautiful! Laura has been going to Deep Hollow Ranch since she was a kid!

Beach Day in Montauk!
1. Ditch Plains - the local beach for surfers and families to relax for the day.
2. Gurney's Beach - private beach located at Gurney's Montauk Resort with day beds and impressive cocktail menu. Available to guests staying at either of Gurney's locations and their friends.
3. Kirk Park Beach - across from the IGA/7-11 in town with a parking lot, this large beach has white sand and is a bit quieter than the beaches in town.
4. Hither Hills State Park - beautiful beach with hiking trails and a campground.
Please note, most beaches require a local beach parking permit. Therefore we recommend either asking your hotel if they provide day parking passes for guests, or dropping the family off and then taking an Uber/LYFT/Taxi.
