Where Should We Stay?
There are several cute AirBnbs in Martindale, but no hotels. Therefore, we've reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Fairfield Inn and Suites (information below) in San Marcos. It's about a 10 minute drive from the venue, has a free breakfast, and is pet friendly.
To get the group rate, you'll need to book your stay at the Fairfield by 11/29/24.
If you're looking for a more private and upscale location, we recommend staying at the Melrose River Club (information below). The boutique hotel is about 5 minutes away from the venue. While we do not have a reserved block of rooms at this hotel or a special rate, we met the owners and loved the property. It's a super cute spot with boho vibes and would be a perfect place to hang out between wedding activities!
Finally, Dax has scoured the internet to find the best Airbnbs in the area (information below). Some of these homes can sleep 14 or more people! So, feel free to split the cost with some friends and book a restful retreat right in town!
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Austin San Marcos
With a stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Austin San Marcos in San Marcos, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Martindale Schoolhouse. Make yourself at home in one of the 80 guestrooms featuring refrigerators and Smart televisions. The Melrose River Club, a luxe country camp/hotel set in a 12-acre park overlooking the beautiful spring-fed San Marcos River. Expect an unpretentious atmosphere that is just a little bit swanky…all within a 5-minute drive of Martindale and all the wedding festivities! Melrose River Club has a variety of accommodations you can choose from. Their renovated Airstreams are $179 a night. Or book one of the cabins, starting at $199 a night. Every unit has a queen sized bed, kitchenette, and updated amenities. The property has private river access, a resort style pool, and a champagne vending machine.
