Our Wedding

It all started with a click, well actually a swipe to be more specific. Justin and Laura first started getting to know each other in June 2020 (thanks bumble). It was a pandemic after all, how else do you meet people?!&nbsp; Whenever I (Laura) tell this story, I always mention the invisible strings that were present in the years before our first date. Yes, we attended the same high school and even had mutual friends date at one time. But the story I like to tell is one where Justin worked at RBC on Lansdowne and I worked at Starbucks, I would actually give Justin FREE Starbucks every once in a while. He claims to not remember but I can’t help but smile when thinking about the small moments we shared years before. We quickly went from our first date on July 20 2020 to spending evenings and weekends together. Come October 2020, I introduced Justin to my family. And thank goodness I finally did, because not two days later, I dislocated my knee and became glued to the couch. From then on, Justin was a Croftdale regular.&nbsp; Although I (Justin) swear I paid for every drink I received at Starbucks, Laura might be onto something with those invisible strings. After Laura's knee healed up, I was able to introduce her to my family. Being nurses, Laura and my mom hit it off immediately and we were off to the races. Many memories, road trips, and milestones were made and many more await. In no time at all, we intertwined our lives and there was no signs of slowing down. In June 2023, we purchased our first house. Together, worked to make it our home; our favourite place to be.&nbsp; With that in mind, Justin proposed in our beautiful backyard on September 1 2024, just the two of us.

Hotel Information

We have set aside a block of hotel rooms at the Best Western Plus Otonabee Inn for Friday September 5th, Saturday September 6th under "Cavanagh/Condon Wedding". The rate is $189.95 plus tax per night. If you are interested, you must call the hotel directly at 705-742-3454 and ask for the "Cavanagh/Condon Wedding". Rooms must be booked by July 22nd for this rate. Guaranteed check in time is 3:00 pm, they cannot guarantee earlier.
